- To register, add, update or delete your entries go to:
http://www.taichifinder.co.uk/maintenance
You can also retrieve a lost user name or password there. Not working? - Tell us.
I should mention that the login page is not the same one you would use to purchase items from our shop, so do not follow the -My Account- link at the top of this page unless you wish to buy something :-)
Also you can only access your entries using the email address with which you created them.
Once you have logged in you should see a short menu on the left, something like this:
- special events (one-off events that people would travel a distance to attend)
- regular classes
- First time users wishing to advertise regular classes should start by clicking regular classes and Add.
- Once the school information is set up, then choose contacts.
Click Add and enter your contact details.
- Now the final step is adding your class. If you do not do this then your entry will not show up. Click the option venues and fill in the class details starting with country, then county or region, postcode (if UK) etc.

- If your email address is shown as invalid when following the *forget password* link, then contact us.
- If you change your email address then please update your entries. Also change your email address used to log in and send you password reminders.
- You need to have cookies enabled or else your email address and password will be rejected.

3. Is there a limit to the size of my entry?
Yes, It is around 4 lines of text when your entry is displayed for each of school, instructor and venue so there should be enough space between these three for all but the most verbose:-)
The idea is to provide enough information for a potential student to make the first contact rather than to upload your full cv.

4. What information should I supply?
Keep it simple, do not to duplicate any information in your entry.
- School (name, website) - if your tai chi/martial arts/qigong school does not have a name, use your own name.
- instructors/contacts - contact details by phone and email
- venues - where to find your classes (including postcode for classes on the UK mainland).
Telephone numbers and email addresses only need to be entered in one place (for each named contact/instructor). Websites only need to be entered in "schools (regular classes)".

5. I have logged in but cannot find my entries. Why is this?
Usually if you cannot find your entries by following the links in this menu it is because you have registered with a different email address. Your entries are only accessible using the one email address which must be the same for everyone using the same school name. If you re-register the system will assume you are someone else. You will not have access to the entries you created under another login.

6. What can I list on tai chi finder?
Worldwide listings for any classes, seminars or holidays involving tai chi, qigong bagua, xingyi, yiquan etc. would be most welcome. For events, you should include the location in the title of the event.

7. Is there any charge for listings?

10. How to delete an entry?
Please drill down to the venue and delete that first. Then if you wish delete the contact and finally, now that nothing depends on it, you can delete the school entry. If you do it the other way although you will not be able to access your entry it will stay in our directory.
