- We practise Ba Duan Jin Qigong, also known as "8 Brocades" before we start our Wild Goose exercises. We are working through the Wild Goose system. Wild Goose Qigong is from the Kunlun Daoist system. It dates back to the Jin Dynasty. It mimicks the movements of a carefree innocent Wild Goose.
Practice of these movements allows the body to become more flexible as you learn to "stretch with ease". The movements strengthen the internal organs whilst "dredging" the channels.
Positive energy is enhanced whilst negative energy is released. The blood and the Qi circulation are improved. Handed down to Grandmaster Yang Meijun by her grandfather, she began to make the system public. It was her greatest wish that Wild Goose Qigong be available to everyone.
