A gifted teacher, Jan has been teaching tai chi for 12 years in Ireland. He is a lineage student with Master Ma Bao Guo of Zhengzhou, a Hun Yuan Tai chi Master, as well as a Master of Xing Yi and Chi Gong. Jan was also an indoor student of Master Tian Yin Jia of Shanghai, who was the son of Tian Zhao Lin, who grew up in the Yang Family household as an adopted son. From him, Jan learned the Old Yang Style Middle Frame, which is the original Yang Form as practised by Yang Jien Hou, son of Yang Lu Chan. Jan has learned Wu Style from BK Frantzis, from whom he received an Instructor's Certification, as well from Dan Docherty, Eddie Wu, and Li Bing Ci of Beijing, whose lineage disciple, Tina Zhuang, Jan is planning to host next weekend. This course is an excellent introduction to tai chi. Jan emphasises physical priniciples first, and will guide you through the body to a position where tai chi can be done effectively.
