Taijiquan is considered a jewel of Chinese culture. It successfully combines martial arts strategy, medicine and philosophy into one complete art form.

Within the process of creation, Taiji is the spiralling energy of the universe. It is the rotating force which exists in everything from the orbit of the planets through to the spiralling helix of our DNA. The aim of Taijiquan is to find and utilise the source of this power within the body for self defence, and healing.
